Guarantee Policy:
A Credit Card is secured at the time of booking for guarantee only. No deposit taken upon booking (subject to change for special events and city-wide conventions), however a charge of one night room charge will be applied to the credit card used as a guarantee if the reservation no-shows.
Modifying Your Reservation
- Please note that a change in the length or dates of your reservation may result in a rate change.
- Please be prepared to show proof of eligibility for your rate (such as a membership card, corporate or government identification card, or proof of your age).
Special Accommodation Requests:
Generally, we cannot guarantee any specific room or location, although we make every effort to grant special requests.
Extra Person charge (person 3 or more) is USD 20.00 per person per day

Carefree Resort & Villas accepts the following credit cards: American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and Diners Club.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation allowed 72 hours prior to arrival without penalty. Cancellation within 72 hours prior to arrival will result in charge of one night room charge.
Check-in time after 4 p.m.
Check-out time before 12 p.m
Rates are subject to change.
Tax Information:
There is a 13.27% lodging, state, and local tax applicable to every room rate charge. This tax is subject to change without notice.
Daily Hotel Service Charge:
There is a taxable $20 Daily Hotel Service Charge (per day/per room) applied to your account. This charge includes:
* Complimentary use of computers with internet access in the Roadrunner Café
* Daily Housekeeping Gratuities
* All Bellman Gratuities for arrival and departure
* All Bellman Gratuities for arrival and departure
* Complimentary Boarding Pass printing services
* Complimentary incoming and outgoing fax services (Charges will apply after first 5 pages)
* Daily Shuttle Service to and from The Village at Carefree upon request
* Courtesy shuttle (10a-6p) to predetermined locations in Carefree & Cave Creek
* Complimentary valet event parking
* Complimentary overnight valet and self-parking (Villa garage rentals are extra – based on availability)
* Guestroom delivery of newspaper Monday-Friday – (papers available in Main Lobby on weekends)
* First twenty (20) minutes of local and toll-free phone calls – fees will apply after
* Use of two heated pools (main resort & Village) & 24-hour access to Fitness Center
* Destination Activities planning services in main Lobby (hours vary seasonally)
* Tee time access and booking capability around the valley (hours vary seasonally)
* In-room coffee service in all guest rooms
* Complimentary use of wireless internet in guest rooms, lobby and restaurants
* Complimentary Daily Desert Cruise Activities (Which vary seasonally) include:
- Self-guided morning walks (Daily themed maps available in Roadrunner Café)
- Hiking at Pinnacle Peak Park (shuttle departs main lobby at sunrise on a first come basis)
- Afternoon Tours and/or Activities of the Day
- Nightly Campfires (S’mores available for purchase in the Red Horse Saloon)
- “Dive-in” Movies (Friday and Saturday evenings throughout summer)
- On-site Cultural Interpreter (fees will apply for group related activities)
Shuttle service to any other location, resort, and/or requested times will be considered (but not guaranteed) based on vehicle and staff availability – fees will apply based on final destination requested. It is not recommended that guests rely on this service as a mode of guaranteed transportation. Vehicle availability and/or service requirements may cause slight variations in shuttle times. Requests for personal or group transportation may be requested in advance, however, fees will apply and the resort may contract a separate transportation provider for such services at prevailing rates.
Smoking Policy:
All of the rooms and villas at the Carefree Resort & Villas are non-smoking.
Early Departure: Last Night Room Rate will be charged if guest departs early without 72 hour notice.
Children Policy: Children to age 18 stay free when sharing the same accommodations as adults. Adults must be 21 yrs or older.
Guests must be at least 21 years old to register. ID will be required at check-in.
Pet Policy and Deposit if applicable: Pets are welcome at the resort. There is a 50 USD non-refundable deposit due upon guest registration. Guests are required to sign a pet responsibility agreement upon registration.
